Prototype IoT Plant Monitor

The prototype IoT Plant Monitor measures temperature, humidity and soil moisture levels and transmits the data to the Blynk IoT cloud.

A mobile phone app can then be used to monitor the data and view both historical and real-time updates.

The prototype is built using 

• ESP8266 Arduino shield (a WiFi enabled SoC)
• Soil Moisture Sensor- MH-sensor series flying fish
  
• AM2302 Humidity Sensor Module
  
• USB Serial to TTL module for programming
• Blynk IoT Cloud service
